Hello to all of you,
This is the Season of Light...the Chanukah candles and the Christmas trees and, of course, the shortness of days that bring us away from the light. But this is also a season of hope and miracles. It is both of those concepts that keep our inner lights gleaming. Wherever there is light there will also be darkness. Night follows day.
The YC Winter Solstice Celebration
The Winter Solstice will arrive on December 21st. The YogaConnection will be celebrating at 30 Warren Avenue on Saturday, December, 22 from 3-5 pm. Our two shamans, Ginny and Maria, will help us usher out the shortest day of the year and open us to the brighter days ahead.
Prepare to be dressed for outdoors as well as indoors. Bring your friends and a Donation for the Food Bank, please.
Ritual is a part of life, the part that helps us connect the dots from our lives and others. It reunites us in mind, body and spirit. We appreciate Mother Nature, the planet and our place in the Big Picture.
Have I mentioned giving? Simple and true the best gift is YOU. You are the present that everyone wants. Be as present as you can as you deal with the highs and lows of the seasons. Keep breathing, as it is the great gift of LIFE.
May your days be full of peace and light.
