Summer Solstice 2020 | Metta...Loving Kindness
To all you loving beings,
What I offer to myself today I offer to all of you.
May I be safe and protected.
May I be strong mentally, emotionally and physically.
May I always be grateful for what I’ve been given.
In our practice of metta....loving kindness we surround ourselves and others with Love, Compassion, Patience, Peace and Forgiveness.
I want to share this from the Solstice Celebration:
"We are the generation that stands between the fires: behind us the flames and smoke that rose from Auschwitz and from Hiroshima; before us the nightmare of a Flood or a Fire, the flame and smoke that consumes all Earth.
It is our task to make fire NOT in an
all-consuming blaze but the Light in which we see each other fully.
All of us are different. All of us bearing ONE SPARK.
We light these fires to see more clearly that the earth and all who live as part of it are NOT for burning.
We light these fires to see more clearly the rainbow in our many colored faces.
Blessed is the one within the many. Blessed are the many who make the One."
~ Arthur Washow
Many thanks to Ginny and Martha, our fire tenders, and to Deb and Ken who made the Labyrinth and to all of you who walked it.
The present moment is eternal like the sunrise and the sunset. The journey begins anew.
Much love and peace,
Barbara
